The Wakonda Elementary LADY’s (Loving Affirming Discerning Yourself)
The Wakonda Elementary Lady’s is a group mentoring program that meets every Thursday over the lunch hour (12:00 - 1:00pm) with 5th grade girls. We get to know each other and work on goal setting, career exploration and leadership skills as the girls prepare for middle school. Our presence is needed to help build confidence, self-esteem and promote a positive self-image while developing essential life skills and leadership traits for greatness. We also bring in professional females to discuss various career interests.
